Though I read the entire article I could not find that exact quote, but the gist of the article was that happiness is a decision. You can decide to be miserable or you can decide to be happy. MJF and his lovely wife, Tracy, have decided to be happy. I knew I liked them for a reason. :-)
My last post expressed my frustration with moving and adapting to new places. I don't enjoy it. It always comes with some solitude. I admittedly am not a person who needs a lot of friends. I have my few very close ones scattered about the WORLD, but sometimes you do need to interact with someone above the age of 10 on a face to face bases.
But you know what, life is pretty good. OK life is better than pretty good! I am a glass is half full kind of gal, 99.9% of the time. I had a bought of it being half empty there, but it is full again. The sun is out and the boys are happy. Yes, Blunoz is working a lot, but he is alive. He isn't deployed. Well, OK, so deployment can sometimes be easier because we aren't expecing him home for dinner and finding out at 5:30 that he isn't going to make it. ;-)
So when life is throwing you lemons, please make lemonade. Read that article about MJF and see how even during trying times, life is fun and happy! Let's not pity ourselves, but see the joy in life that God has given us!
Let us ALL decide to be HAPPY!

A fine sentiment. :)
I don't know if you made it back to my blog to check on the response to your comment, but you were right. "First Nation" is the correct term. :)
I could have written this blog entry. I also don't need a lot of friends but I do have some very close and dear friends all over. I was telling David that it takes a lot to get into my heart but once you are there, you are there for life. I also love MJF. Have always loved him and his wife. Enjoy your day.
"No one can make you feel ANYTHING. How you choose to react to a given situation/person is entirely up to you." ;) Yup - you understand that.
AND its ok sometimes to feel sorry for yourself.... cuz if you don't do it... no one else will. It's just that pretty soon you begin to hear the song lyrics.... "deep dark depression, excessive misery" which had a tendency to crack one up, pick up their big girl pants and get on with life!
