Wildlife Habitat being Recreated

We are working on recreating our Backyard Wildlife Habitat.

The previous owners left some nice trees, bushes and a bird house for shelter.

Another requirement is food.
I think we have had great success! We have attracted cardinals, turtle doves, finches and some others that I have not identified and of course a squirrel or two which I believe are YB's favorite.

I'm with YB. I think they're the most entertaining backyard beasts around.

One winter in CT we had a suet ball that we hung from a tree outside our kitchen window. I thought I'd done a pretty decent job making it squirrel proof.

Then we glanced out side one day and a stupid squirrel was hanging upside down, about 10 feet off the ground hanging with all four paws from the suet ball.

He eventually got it of course, much to our amusement.
